equalization start drill
when i was searching for a bms for my 600va ups battery pack, I came across this  "equalization start drill " term. Can anyone explain?
Found a reference about equalizing power for starting a drill - as in a hand-held, battery powered drill.  So maybe its some kind of motor surge feature?
Presumably there is an implicit comma, i.e. "with equalization, start drill" means it has a balance function (equalization), and it also has OCP = over current protection that allows high enough instantaneous surges to start (drill) motors.
Like others have suggested above, it may be a "soft-start" for motors feature....
Running off solar, DIY & electronics fan :-)
