Hey all,
Started a video series on testing the BMS board that comes with the LG packs that are hot on eBay. Since the recall was due to the failure of the boards, I will try to force the board to fail and find a way to resolve any issues along the way.
At first glance, it uses NCH fets which are the hallmark of balancing boards not protection boards. To test this theory, I've built up a 4P10S and will begin some load tests tomorrow. All the videos are up on the channel and I hope it works, or I can find a way to improve it so anyone that has these units can safely install and use them.
May also do a give away promo to generate some interest in the channel, I'm taking suggestions.
