2424LV-MSX Solar charging issue

So i've had my mppsolar inverter for about 3 years now, it's already gone through one mainboard replacement. Functionally it's inverting and charging batteries still, however, I've noticed that the relay that turns on and off the solar charging will get stuck to the on position. It's also noticeably quieter when it snaps on/off. While the sun is still out i can throw the breaker and i hear it turn off, but after sun set and sometimes for quite a while it stays on and i'm not sure what all negative impact it has. I haven't really tested this with an amp meter, but the watchpower shows 3-4 amps of charging (80 to 120watts) or so of solar charging even after the sun is completely down. I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this happen, i haven't seen any results from searches. I am one of the first purchases though of the 120v model, bought only a month or so after release. I think the solar charging is the board at the top of the inverter, separate from the mainboard so it's original. Thinking about just buying a solar charge controller, and not use the solar charging on the mpp.

Mine has been active since 11/2017. My PIP does this off/on thing right at the end of the day which you can hear the relay clicking as it turns on and off. I used to hear that all the time when I was testing it on my workbench in the beginning but since it has been installed in the outhouse I hardly pay attention to it. But you may be right about wearing out the relays. Maybe you can just replace the relay?

Below is my output. Here's how mine looks. The green is my PIP and the blue is my eSmart3. They both go down about the same time. According to that day the sunset is around 20:05 and last light at 20:30ish

Going to try replacing the relays, got a 5 pack for about 15 bucks on ebay, slow boat from china though. They want another 115 or so after shipping for a new mppt board. I'll update if the relay swap fixes, otherwise i'll probably just opt for a separate charge controller.

I will have to listen to my inverter as I have never noticed a relay click when the PV drops. Mine is just after 9pm
