I have a 40 volt DCbattery bank however my inverter is rated at 24 volts DC are they compatible can I use my 24 volt DC inverter with this wall and not blowup my inverter. Thank you in advance David Carter

No, you can't use the battery bank directly to the inverter. It'll fry the inverter if it specifically doesn't include the voltages you have available.

The only way to power the inverter is to use a battery bank that is within the range of the inverter input. Being 24V, its range is probably somewhere between 20V - 27V. But you should be able to get the exact range by looking at the datasheet for your inverter, or the label.
