Hi guys,
I finally got my first couple YouTube videos posted. Check them out at Aspendell's YouTube page

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkd5FSsZNdvau_JEXC0RNxQ[/video]
I got a shout out to AveRage Joe's fuse videos and a link to the battery holders here :)

I still have enough footage since I made this pack to probably produce a few more videos, but gosh-o-golly that's allotta work.
Now I know why HB does the Live chats. Much easier, no editing, LOL.

Posted comments on both videos. I'll repost here:

Why are you using copper buss on the one side, and nickel strip on the other?

Hopefully I answered fully on the YouTube comments. If you still have questions, lemme know :)

Couple more things I just thought of... 1) The copper 16ga+ wire is very hard to solder to, without superheating everything around it. Also bare copper is extremely vulnerable to corrosion if it comes into contact with any dissimilar metals, such as steel terminals. That is why most of your bigger gauge terminals are actually nickle plated copper rather than bare copper. Ever seen a copper terminal connected to a lead battery terminal in a car after 6 months? (Green Blob!)
and 2) The nickle-plated copper strips are more bridges than they are busses. That is, the pack would actually function without them. They are really there for something to solder the fuses to and a way of evenly spreading the current across all fuses so you don't have 1 amp on some fuses and 12 amps on others.

but all that woulda made my YouTube comment too long ;)

Nah, not really :p All of us up for more info ;) "And knowing is half the battle"

btw. I built that pack a couple weeks ago and even had time to finish processing and testing all my remaining cells. So I have enough for another 20p version and possibly 2 ready to go.
But I just got a call today that a line that I had been pursuing for more Lithium packs finally came thru. I have over 1500 lbs of laptop and power tool packs that I have to transport, make room for, and eventually process now! Might have to buy a new vehicle just to transport them

So keep planting seeds Korshan, some are bound to sprout if you're persistent.
