Hello,

does anyone know how high the import duties to the United States for the Batrium Starter Kit are (WatchMon4 , 14x LongMon, Shunt)?
Furthermore, does anyone know if the WatchMon is compatible with the -11 generation of Sunny Island inverters (i.e. 6.0H-11 / 8.0H-11)?

Best,
MM

I didn't get any additional import charges on my Batrium BMS purchase (to the US - WA if it matters).

I was also eyeballing theSunny Island inverter/charger. Would be interested in anything you find out about that combination specifically.

That's good to know. How long did it take to ship?

I know it works as an external BMS with the -12 generation. I also checked the Firmware update log on the -11 generation:
Firmware Release v3.002 3.000 includes a provision for controlling the Sunny Island with an external BMS, I just don't know if the Batrium supports that protocol as well.

For shipping -Batrium uses DHL and they have good tracking.I don't remember exactly how long it took, but it wasn't excessive. somewhere between 1-2 weeks.

Which firmware are you referring to? The Batrium firmware or the Sunny Island inverter?

If Batrium, I know they have had a a support page for connecting a WatchMonto a sunny island inverter for at least a year. I assume the integration/communication (through CAN bus)is solid at this point.

I was referring to the Sunny Island firmware.

The support page does not specify which version and firmware of the Sunny Island you need, so I am hoping it will work with the new firmware on the -11 generation.
