Best way to discharge to 3.7 Volts?

Hi everybody,

just started to build my own small battery with 18650.

I startet to test some cells voltage drop after 1 month. After finishing the voltage drop test i want to ask how you discharge all 18650s to 3.7 or 3.6 for storage or building the packs?

I noticed that you can change settings on an opus charger to 3.7volts. But for this you have to discharge the cell complete an load them again. I guess somebody has a good idea to get them better to 3.7 or 3.6 volts.

Quite easy.
Build yourself a 20p (or however many cells you want to put in parallel) discharge board.
Get a ZHIYU® ZB206 and set it to discharge to 3.6V at whatever amperage you want and you are done. Bonus is it will tell you how many Ahs you have discharged.
You can also use an iCharger to do the same just more expensive.

I'm sure there are other ways but this is the easiest way I have found.

Oh cool. I wanted to do the same thing, but I had spare time on my OPUS, so was just using it to discharge. Curious to see hear what others are doing.

After discharge to 2.8v with the zb2l3 to get the capacity, i charge them back up with a cc/cv converter to 3.45 volts

~400 cells between 1800-2500 and above 90%soh(sell?)
600 cells between 2200 - 3000mah, 80-90%soh (sell?)
2600 waiting for testing.
approx: 500 cells not safe for use: dead, heaters, to high ir or sd
