ATO is already over it - we have to pay capital gains tax on crypto - that's my next chalange
 
According to what I've seen/heard so far, every transaction, even from crypto to crypto, is taxable in the US. Currently the IRS can't track the individual because it's super anonymous. But they are working on trying to get past all that. Hopefully they won't any time soon.

They need to cut back the ridiculous spending and free handouts rather than trying to tax crypto "currency".
