Is there aversion of the Cell database in an excel format? As I harvest batteries and collect data, I would like to keep all the data I gather in an excel file with the manufacturers information for reference.

I would prefer not to have to recreate the Cell database in excel if I have to, but I might have to.

You could write a script that'll pull the data from the SLS Cell Database. Someone has something similar. Can't think of who it is off hand.
They are the ones who uses barcodes to label their cells and such. Hrmmm.....

Update:
brettywatty is the guy.
Here's his main instructable thread: https://secondlifestorage.com/t-Arduino-Nano-4x-18650-Smart-Charger-Discharger-Battery-Tester

You may be able to contact him and see if he'll give you the script to pull the data in

I'll check out the instructable, but the barcode is exactly what I wanted to do!
Thanks!

If you want the database in excel go to my google drive and find either the harvest.xlsm or the full fledged sheets Harvested cell analysis.xlsx You can go from there and have fun. If a new cell is discovered easy enough to enter it into the database.

What data are you thinking of collecting? I'm in a similar position, just starting out, and as I don't have enough supply to fill my time I was thinking collection harvest data and sharing with the community would be a good way to give back. If you measure as-found IR with a YR1030 you, wolf, and I will be able to combine data and further refine his work on IR versus Remaining Capacity. I'm also going to collect information on how many raw cells I harvest, how many of these I eliminate due to damage/CID/Corrosion etc. without further testing, how many need reviving (as-found <2V), and whether they make the cut to be capacity checked or not. This is based on my personal interest in developing some data to help other newcomers set their harvest expectations in terms of usable cell yield versus cells found.

Hi Mike, not sure why you're posting the links in response to my post. As far as I know none of the data I'm talking about collecting is included yet. If there is something, whoops, must have missed it.

Perhaps if you started reporting such data, we could start including it? As far as I know, data can't be included until it's collected and reported to us.

Gotcha! will do.
