Here's where it all started. At least the first few cells or hundreds. It was well over 800 cells in total here (not tested) I've currently built 7 packs of 80 cells in each ( 560 cells in holders) averaging 2100 mAh. Ive tested and sorted at least another 600 cells ready for building into packs.

I also received another shipment yesterday of over 100 power tool batteries ( 10 in each) at least another 1000 cells to seperate and test. I'm having so much fun, eachpack is a surprise to see what

I will find. I can charge 32 cells at once. Averaging at least 64 a day sometimes more.
Here's the latest supply
m building a similar style to "Pete" 48v system, not quite as EXTREME or AWESOME!!
Can anyone recommend a decent "pure sine inverter"prob2000w to feed into my house power for lights, fans and power points for night time use initially.. I'll start with a 8-10 KWh system to feed in and expand as needed.
I like the look of the PCM 60x solar charger and looks like it will suit what I'm looking for.

Thanks guys

Ty

Do you want to feed into the house via grid? Or offgrid?

Via grid you need to decide between doing grid feed in such a way that you sell as well or you go 0meter. There are a couple of cheap ones out there now that including meter does what you want.

Offgrid is generally easier depending on your layout of wires and such. Its just a matter of separating the system and run it through the inverter.

Hi Daromer, I've been a fan of your YouTube site over the last few months.
I only have 7 recycled panels x 220w, I would like to set up a 48v system. I actually PM pete and asked what he thinks. . I like the look of the MPP 4048ms or the older model. I don't want to feed into the grid. I really want to charge my cells and power the house at night. Do I need a seperate solar charger too? I guess it's the hybrid system I need.
I think that's all I can think of for now.
Are you happy with your batrium system?
How many hours of sunlight are you getting in Sweden at the moment?
Thanks Ty

Thanks!

If you only want to feed your house an offgrid system like the 4048 is a great system. It has charger and all built in.

You just need to feed the parts of your house via this device.
Ie you dont need a hybrid system as long as you do some changes in your house panel for the electricity and make your 4048 feed to it :)

Yes im very happy with the batrium and it does what i want. Ie give me information and status on whats going on. It also top balance based on my settings. Im running 2 Batrium systems as of now. 1 for the LiFePo4 bank and 1 for the Laptop bank.

I have solar between 04AM to 10PM right now. Its our best time kind of. Though of course there is not much sun during that time at all.

This is how it looked the other day with mostly sun:

I've finished my 14 pack (80 cells in each ) 1120 in total which works out at9.64Kwh from what i can work.
working on a spreadsheet with all the capacity as I've
I have another 720 tested ready to build more.
Waiting on cell holders.

I have to mount panels on fence for now until summer arrives, due to monster tree blocking winter sun.
