Connecting battery to Circuit breaker
#21
The "boat builder" can quote whatever, I will listen to them about boats but not about electronics.

"Owners Manual" really ? They give no indication as to a maximum inductance value that would cause any issue. Page of marketing noise.

"induced current opposes the applied current" really ? Not the voltage ? When it's out of phase ?

Of is this special "User Manual" technical terms ?

This made me chuckle : "For more advanced readers, consider flyback effects and the induced voltage spikes can get into the thousands of volts range if the battery were suddenly removed from the circuit (worst case)."
If you can't quantify how much they cost, it's a deal, I'll buy 5 of them for 3 lumps of rocking horse ......

.... those pesky manufacturers instructions and manuals, full of old wives tales and internet myths.

I am unsure which way should i connect the battery (14S*P 18650) to the circuit breaker.
The two options is: 1st straight from the circuit break to the positve terminal and negative. pic 1
2nd From the circuit breaker to the middle and then to the postive and negative terminals pic 2.
Thanks
Andy

In a perhaps futile attempt to revert back to the OPs question, Victron have a helpful guide to wiring that might assist.
