DIY powerwall logo

I am building a portable solar generator and wanted to know who make the DIY powerwalls logo and if I could use it to make decals?

FYI, the diypowerwalls will be having a name change. Pete's leery of a possible copyright infringement of the term "Powerwall" coined by Tesla. Umm, I don't remember what the replacement site is going to be called. something longer than it currently is, though.

I remember the name "Second Life Storage" being mentioned a while back.
And the domain name is obviously reserved, although, at the moment it justredirects you back here : www.secondlifestorage.com/

The forum will be rebranded to Second Life Storage.

I'm a bit late to the party since the name has already changed; didn't see a poll or anything, but wouldn't something like DIY Power Projects be more suited as a name for the forum? Second Life Storage doesn't quite sound like it fits IMO.

There was't a poll that I recall. DIY Power Projects sounds good. I'm sure several other names could be suggested. DIY Power Designs comes to mind.

There wasn't a poll. It was discussed a few times on the live chats in addition to a separate Facebook page that was created. There hasn't been any opposition that I can remember in the several months it's been getting talked about.

Nop - no negative at all up till now, and now it's too late New logo has been ordered & fingers crossed I didn't waste a bunch of money on Fiverr.

The new name comes from a few directions - the need to move away from the word powerwall. The need to open the forum up to many more types of project & storage methods out there. Just being 18650 related is restrictive in terms of growth This was highlighted in many threads with people complaining that they can't put different chemistries into the cell data counter/database & I heard the word 'second life storage' many many times in the media in the past months and figured it would be a fantastic name for search engines to find and index us even better than we are now. HEY - and domain was available !! In the coming years, I believe SLS will become a household name we can all be proud of and say we were here when it was all just starting to take off.

Welp, not on Facebook and there wasn't any banter while I was watching the live feeds. Oh well.

Just don't call it SLS while NASA is in ear-shot cause they've already got one of those in development.

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw SLS. Hopefully NASA doesn't mind.
