Exactly,
Why can't there be a tab for them, That way, people don't have to go digging for the information.
How many times have new people asked questions and someone refers them to the FAQ's ??
Why not a obvious tab for them?
Just asking.

What do you mean by "Tab"?? I think you should clarify this.

The FAQ is a sticky on the main Forum Topic section, just like most other forums have. I think this is the first section 90+% people would look first when visiting the site.

If a person isn't willing to do a little looking around first, I don't think even putting a flashing red button with the text "READ ME FIRST: FAQ" on the page would help.

Oh, now I see. I think he means the section above the forum content, together with "Beginners Guide to Processing 18650 Cells" and the "Cell Database". That's a good point!

The FAQ section should have it's own topic where 'DIY Powerwall Home' is located showing News, Rules and Feedback etc.

I just think that,( FAQ suggestions), is a little confusing.
I think adding to the title line, or what ever it is, as DarkRaven eluded to sounds good.

Well, having the FAQ on the main page may be a good idea. However, that is something I have no control over.

"FAQ Suggestions" is for an addendum to the FAQ. It is for those who look in the FAQ, don't see something they think should be in the FAQ, and the "suggest" it to be added, hence the name. That's why there's a FAQ Suggestions and FAQ thread to make the differentiation.

But, I will take the aforementioned suggestion of having it put on the main page in the top header and refer it to mike. Ultimately they make the final decisions. Or, you can make your own entry under the Feedback & Suggestions section and request the FAQ to be added there. This might be the better option as it gets the whole community involved, therefore more voices liking/disliking the option. Perhaps a pol of sorts.

Ok, I want to add another portion to the FAQ. This will be common Inverters and where to get them (not specifically sellers on eBay and such, but at least models and such). This would include various names of distributors of the manufactured units.
Another is a list of common, acceptable BMS units like the Batrium and (drat, as I was typing this, I forgot the name. The one that was on Kickstarter and has a goldish looking finish).
A list of chargers and their variations and stats, possibly. AveRage Joe just added another one to this arsenal and it looks pretty darn good. We'll see how well it performs over time.

Now with the aforementioned, I would like possible reviews view Youtube if possible. That way a person can make a truly informed decision about purchasing any of them. This will also help to reduce the load of questions involving these particular items. People are reading the FAQ and getting a lot of the basics down. So I figure it's time to add to them and give a little more meat to the data.

Addendum: Also note it would be good to have known locations the devices are available in. This meaning that if they are not Worldwide available (such as most chargers) and are pretty much only available in AUS, EU, US, it would be good to have that information as well. No point in someone looking at a device that's not available in their country, or usable in their country.

Thanks for all your helps Smile
