Glubux's Powerwall
Hi gublux,
Still working on my solution, I'm studying yours ^^
If I understand correctly, your PV are connected to MPPT which are connected to your battery.
If the battery are charged, the quattro use the exess DC power to power your home
if the battery are charging, the quattro use battery power as it is charging ?! or ?

in other word I'm curious how you configured your ESS mode.

last but not least, you guys use a shead to host your solar gears, is there any reason beside the safety issue of the battery ?

edit 1 : Why have you choosen the quattro and not a multiplus ? As the mane difference I can see is the dual Ac input, and your are not really using them ?

I choose the Quattro because of the 8000VA, the biggest Multiplus are "only" 5000VA .

I don't use the AC inputs for now and don't really intend to.

According to victron, it's not an ESS system, but an offgrid system :

The MPPT are always trying to top the batteries, the inverter takes what it need into the battery when I switch on some device.

Off course if I switch on a device when the MPPT are charging, the power doesn't go through the batteries, it goes directly to the inverter.

The main reason I use a shed far from the house is to have the solar panels at the sunniest place and it's a lot easier/cheaper to run a 50 meters 220v AC cable to your house than a 100v DC.

I hope this makes sense  Smile
