I am Juanjo aka JJ,from Spain,
I have 12 solar panels320W ready to beinstalled, No inverter yet,and my plans are to build up a DIY Powerwall using 2Tesla LI-ION car recycle modules.
I was reallyfed up ofbeing waiting waymore thana year for theOfficial Tesla Powerwall/installation/releasein Spain so I finallycancelled theorder and began this proyect.
I Alreadyhave the first Tesla Module:
5.2 kWh 6S72P
Nominal voltage of 22.2V
maximum 25.2v
minimum 18v
So far I am looking for a compatible inverter/charger to handle maximum charge limit of50V and aminimum of 36vand aBMS for12S
A few friends are Using Voltronics inveter PIP4048MSbut with lead acid batteries, soI am not sure if there is any firmware compatible with Li-Ion
