Hello everyone!

I'm from Puerto Rico, for those who follow the news, we were recently hit quite hard by a Cat.4 hurricane, which left the whole island in the dark after knocking to the ground the whole power grid!!

The event pushed me to look for alternate ways, which lead the way to me finding the forum after deciding that solar was the way to go! I'm on my first few cells, but looking forward to expand that quickly to build my PowerWall...

Regards!

Luis

Mother nature can sure be cruel, thanks for joining and I hope you can find some information here that will help you and your family.

Welcome!

Bienvenido!

Another one here on the island, I'm in Caguas. I haven't started to do my powerwall but I'm buying things and searching for cells. If i can be on any help send me a PM. I believe there are at least 3 on the forums that are on the island.

Thanks Alberto!

I'll definitly PM at some point. I'm still getting my footing on the world of solar. Trying to get my panels going and battery bank. I'm trying to do flooded for the time being, but as you may know, finding batteries in PR right now is almost impossible.

I also got a PIP2424LV-MSD, which I'm crazy desperate to install already! lol

Let me know if I can be of any help as well.

Hi Luis, Tragic what happened in Puerto Rico. Are you looking to build a grid-tied system or a battery based system? I hear most of the grid is still down.
