Hi,

Thanks in advance for helping this Croatin Adriaticnoob:)
I have two same outboard trolling motors for my sail boat,TROLLING MOTOR 120Lbs, Viamare 1470W-24V, here's the link:

https://www.parsun.si/en/product/el...otor-za-coln-120lbs-viamare-1470w-24v-3600kg/

Planning to buy these batteries,Panasonic NCR18650PF 2900mAh - 10A,

https://eu.nkon.nl/rechargeable/18650-size/panasonic-ncr18650pf-3-7v-2900mah.html

I just boughtSunkko 709a spot welder, and I'm learning about copper busbars and nickel strips and fuse wires... a bit confused which way to go:)

Since the motor draws max 61Amps I'm thinking on making one pack 7s56p for powering the motor, is that a good idea?
Can that pack power both motors in the same time?

Thank You,
Igor

What is your logic for using such small format cells to build your battery ?

Dunno, I just came across similar solutions on youtube :)when someone needs light weight, many cycles and high discharge solution.. It appealed to me. I'm now using AGM led deep cycle batteries, they are heavy.
Can You pleasesuggestbigger size format cells?

Given that you'll likely not be short of space, why not look at ex EV cells, theres plenty around from Tesla, Nissan, Chevrolet .....

I would like to build it myself :)
And I have some more stuff that runs on outdatedbatteries that I would like to upgrade, like my portable PA, other boat that I have and such, so this is going to be my new hobby yeah :)
