Makita cordless jigsaw, got it a couple of weeks ago and it's exceeded my expectations considerably. A fun tool to use, lightweight with variable speed for precision and remarkably powerful for only 3s. Three orbit settings and on the top one it chews through a 2x4 faster than I would have believed before I used it. So far I've cut particle board, plywood, pine 2x4, 2x6 and 2x8, white oak, aluminum angle, steel angle, masonite, styrofoam board, polyiso board and probably some stuff I have forgotten.

The blade in the picture is a Bosch wavy knife blade for cutting foam insulation, I'm using it to cut polyiso foam board for my travel trailer renovation. More about that in my build thread

I've put up with a series of crappy jigsaws and I was fully prepared to send this one back if I didn't like it but it's a keeper. It's nice to have a saw that you can hold in one hand and make almost any cut without having to find power and drag a cord somewhere.
