Interesting, Ive used car LED spots, the 12/24v variety hooked straight to a 36v battery, its bright and focused and ip67 waterproof, while not technically a torch, its a headlight for my ebike and its easy to install.
Im interested to see where you go with those large leds, bruno ('electricbike' youtube chan) is supposedly going to use (too)many of them and do a few kW of lights on his ebike using similar 100w LED elements similar to what you showcased.
