Hello everyone. New to the game, so wanted to intro myself along with hopefully some possible hardware for us state side folks.. Yea, its china but it looks and performs damn near close to MPP solar and maybe even we can use the same software.. and its also on alibaba aswell under different brand names.
I know, i know, shady... i already emailed both sites and waiting on a reply.. price is cheaper than ebay and amazon. maybe they get u on shipping. but they do offer a MPPT 48V 120v out MPP solar type hybrid inverter..
The main site i believe is : sumry.com.cn and if you google "SCI3000/4000/5000/6000 inverter", Alibaba will show up.. They have an exact MPP solar look-a-like also, but its not MPPT, just the SCI series is i think. Now all we need is to get it to the states and get some reviews on it.. For around $200-$500, I just might take the western union risk. I'll let you know what happens if i go for it.

Depending on the county you live in you might need certain certifications otherwise you might void you house insurance etc. should something happen.

ie. in Canada it should have CSA or cUL certifications.

Recently at my work I spoke with a CSA inspector who is personally verifying that the stickers are legit. There have been a lot of fakes showing up.

Good luck.

Others around the community have got the knock off versions and had an issue with very incorrect voltages - I would recommend a little extra cash will over a lot better value

Thanks! Ill stay far away from it then. How do you guys feel about the meanwell brand inverters and dc power supplies ?? The specs on everything they makelook good and i believe UL cert.. just super pricey..

I've never heard of them but a UL-certification means it passed strict testing and is a quality product, which explains the pricing.

Thanks for the reply. Yea this guy on YouTube opened one up a ts-3000 and it looked beefyinside. Def quality. His name is John Daniel I think. Said all the top shelf RV motor homes use them in their setups. The TN series is mppt and ups bypass like mpp solar.
Here is the vid:
