Hello,

I am thinking of installing a mainsenergy monitoring system and have been looking into OWL Intuition as well as Efergy Engage platforms. Are there any other platforms that offer an out-of-the-box solution for my 3 phase installation? I am surprised I did not find something SONOFF-based.What mains energy monitoring solutions are you guys using?

I used their guide on how to build your own monitor. It's fairly straight forward. But they do have ready built units as well. Not sure of the costs as I didn't go that route. I wanted to go the build route as it taught me something new, plus I can expand easily. I could add more sensors and monitor not just the mains, but each breaker to see where there's a higher drain and what not.

I use SDM630 for 3phase monitoring:

You guys are into some really serious stuff for sure! :)
On the other hand, being a beginner, I am looking for something off-the-shelf to get me started, since I basically want to analyze my per-phase consumption first, in order to begin experimenting with grid-tie inverters and the like. I am adding Ubiquity to the list as well, although I find that only the system from owl provides a per-phase analysis of consumption in the right price.

I've been using Efergy, and It works fine. Simple to set up and use. Delivers the data you need.

There's also Watt-o-Meters or "watt meters" if you search eBay for them. They can give you a per outlet load measurement. And you can move it from outlet to outlet and load to load to check each device. So you'd only need 1 or a few to do a whole home.

Plenty of them exist and efergy i heard good about as well. Depending on market you can source cheap local ones for 20-50USD per phase/set.

Keep in mind that the Efergy meter doesn't know about power factor and would thus not always give you 100% accurate data.
