What are you using the LAB set-up for? I would assume you are moving it around with a two wheel dolly. Will you be putting a fan in the container for ventilation? I can see the aluminum items corroding, after the batt's vent for a while. Are you using the Cap, for a buffer? How will you be charging? Have a good day.

First setup of Lead acid for portable use. Tub is just in case of leakage. Lid is off during operation. Just an easy way to store it after use. Plan on Making it a lot more portable in a rolling box. Charging is by 6 Harbor Freight panels. Supplemented with a 10 Amp battery charger during work day. Plugged into a portable generator feeding house at dryer plug. Lets me run tools and fully charge during day. then reverse to feed house at night to a few lights like someone is home. Shop Box will probably end up being attached in tool trailer. With panels on roof. Supplemented by plugging at home system. I do have a Jumper cable set and a Cigarette adapter rigged up to charge the portable power box from vehicle during travel or camping situation. Yes cap is to handle surging loads not so much on then 750W inverter but I have a 2000W inverter that can also be connected.

You can see the progression from concept to current state. Right nowI can run a portable cooler and 12V lighting for 24 Hours on a full charge. If you look close I added 2 12v DC jacks for the Harbor freight lights and two switchable lights on box itself. There are two outputs one from Charge controller the other is switched with the DC jacks 20A fused straight from Battery. Each pack has a BMS with balance function. Thought about making another box Pure batteries.
