Power under the stairs
#1
Hi, I'm going to build a 70 kW power plant engineer to do the stairs in my house. I usually collect old notebook batteries. Do you have a brand? Produce, Lenovo, HP, etc.

Merhaba, evimdeki merdivenlerin yapacak 70 kW'lık bir elektrik santrali mühendisi edeceğim. Genelde eski notebook bataryalarını toplarım. Markan var mı? Üretmek, lenovo, hp, vb.
Zaman kullanıldığında kıymetlidir.

Luckily, this is Turkish.

So I understand a bit of it.

"Hello. I would like build 70kW powerwall under stairs of house... I scavenge old notebook batteries. Brand best? Lenovok, HP, others"

Sorry if my translation skills are very rough.

Basically, he's asking what battery packs usually have the best cells inside.
The power of lithium ion is in our hands!
We'll show them what we're made of!

I know that. I can easily right click the page and select "Translate to English". But that's besides the point.

I voted Dell. Although Lenovo would come second. HP are the worst. Not with reference to cell quality. I get lots of good cells from HP. Probably success is much the same as the others. Most Dell and Lenovo packs are very easy to open.

Teşekkürler cevaplar için.
Herkes ingilizce bilmek zorunda değil. Google trasnlater bu işi zaten yapıyor.
Selamlar, saygılar.

+1 for Dell.

But remember, it's a lot more up to the manufacturing date now-days.

10-15 years ago all notebooks used to use cell load balancing. Not today. Maybe only the top models use balancing now. Practically, the cells are charged in series without a BMS in many non-expensive models.

It's not that everyone has to know. It's just common courtesy to post in english as that is the language that goes beyond boarders. Also, Google Translate has been notoriously incorrect in translating certain words, especially in the tech/scientific world. To keep from any confusion we ask that you post in english. Otherwise, you are drastically limiting who will be willing to help you as not everyone is keen on (or know about) right-click-translate.

You also posted this thread in the wrong section as this is not a build/progress thread, but a Q/A thread. Moving...
