Powerwall of the Week!

Starting today, we will be featuring a "Powerwall of the Week". One powerwaller will be chosen from the Battery Project Builds forum every two weeks. We will use this time to highlight the impressive work done by our fellow friends of the DIY community. Your project will be pinned to the top of the forum, right up there with Peter's, and also pinned to the top of the Facebook group page.

Building these battery banks isn't as simple as slapping a few AA in your TV remote and calling it a day. It's recycling. It's learning. It's takes a great deal of time, patience, and is a work of art. There is no right way to do it, only what's best for your needs.

Requirements for eligibility: Please create a thread in the Battery Project Builds section (if you don't have one already) outlining your project. Please take the time to write a paragraph or two describing your project. We are looking for specific details and lots of pictures. The more details and pictures you provide, the greater chance your project will be selected. Details include battery configuration, how you're testing, kinds of packs/cells you're using, inverter connections, panel types/amounts, etc. If you already have a thread going, now is the time to update

I like this idea, but I think the Facebook photo is our powerwall of the week. What you guys think? Is this happening here too?

Darn, I thought this was a new thing until I read the date.
Sounds like a cool idea though! And a fair amount of time commitment from our administrator. Maybe a Powerwall of the Month?

We need to get more people to post their projects here, and yes, I think monthly would work much better.
