I am new to this rodeo, have been watching the youtube videos night and day.... sometimes in my sleep, although I find myself having to watch them again. Anyhow, I was wondering what the proper procedure would be for reclaimed cells? Should I do a full charge and then test or should I do a discharge/refresh... this seems to take a long time... just ordered a second one... plus I ordered a SKYRC IMAX B6AC V2.... will be getting some packs in and have to step up this process a bit...

Hi Robert. I am very new as well. The Opus has a test cycle that charges the cells full, then discharges and recharges. At the end it will display capacity. I have been doing that cycle twice as I am having a difficult time sourcing cells. I just today soldered a parallel charging holder for 5 cells so I can charge 5 cells on my SkyRC IMAX then throw them on the Opus. This will hopefully save time.
I hope this helps.

Hi Alec,

I too ordered a SkyRC and want to configure the holders, not sure what I have to order for the holder.... I saw someone set them up in youtube but did not write down the youtube video. These cell boxes do not come with wires, so I guess it will be a trip to the HomeDepot to get some bars to connect up the cases. I ordered a second OPUS because I think that it may reset the cells a little better, but it takes so freaking long.

This is how I do it:
