% SOC reset
#1
Under what conditions is the % SOC counter in the batrium software reset?

On my outback FlexNet-DC it resets 'full charge' on the following conditions:

Charge amps < setpoint
Charge voltage > setpoint
Parameters met time > setpoint

Where setpoint in all those cases is user set-able.

I ask because I'm commissioning my system and at first hookup it shows % SOC as -0.5%, the outback assumes 100% SOC on first connection.
Current system: 9.6kWh wet Nicad batteries, 16S1P Calb LiFePo4, 210aH, Batrium WM4, Outback vfx3048 inverter, mx60 mppt controller, flexware 500 mounting hardware, 2.4kW solar array, 6kW lister diesel genset.

You can put in an SOC value under hardware > shunt > edit button > metrics.
Similarly, you can set the % when it resets the full SoC eg to 101.5%, etc
I don't think it does it the same as your outback one.

Interesting, I'll play with this and report...

Yes it resets when above or below a SOC value basically. In the end it ends up correct you could say

Understood, I'll charge until I decide my batts are 'full' then reset it to 100%
