Ok, came across this little bit of info today. It's a great fly trap from what I've seen so far. I plan on making on this weekend! Since most of us are going off-grid and potentially away from the city life, this is probably something most of us have to deal with.

Here's another really good trap:
 
 
I use a coke bottle with the top cut off 4 inches down and turned over without the cap and hot glued in, add some milk powder and a cup of water - hang in the sun works a treat
