One reason of joining was to investigate 'waste-streams' generated by (e-Bike) batteries packs. To my knowledge they are not mass-recycled and/or dismantled. Basicly just collected and stored. In NL a non-profit organisation Stibat is responsible for gathering this battery packs.
Recovering batteries generate a lot of waste:
Wondering which resources can be re-claimed, how-to process them? Since it take quite some effort to separate the different resources, could potentially generate an revenue stream?
When looking in Netherlands:

- Hard-plastic casing
- Copper Wiring
- Plastic sleeves
- Scrap metal (tabs, screws, casing etc)
- Circuit boards
- Batteries

- Hard-plastic, Plastic sleeving are general waste. (-0.25 EUR/kg)
- Copper wiring (2 EUR/kg)
- Scrap metal (1 EUR/kg)
- PCB low-grade (1 EUR/kg)
- Scrap metal (0.05 EUR/kg)
- Batteries (???)
