Sigineer Power 12KW 120/240v Inverter, UL-Listed?
#1
Someone sent me a link to this earlier this morning (you can make yourself known if you want).
https://www.sigineer.com/product/12000-w...lit-phase/

It sounds way too good to be true. A 12,000 watt inverter that's UL-listed and less than $2000? There's a short video that gives an overview. The wires inside look way to small to me. 12,000 watts would be 50A. Look how skinny the wires are at 0:34s. Also, I'm not sure how much circuitry is usually in an inverter (maybe someone can take a picture of theirs?) but it seems like there's hardly any circuitry inside at 0:34s. I have a very hard time believing this is UL-listed. I might try contacting them and asking for the certification information.

PS: Some of their units look like AIMS units almost?

I'd have to agree with ya, Mike. There seems like there should be more caps in there, and big ones. The transformer is larger than most units, though. So that looks rugged enough. But the wiring from the transformer to the plugs is definitely not heavy enough.

I think its real.
Its all done with the transformer and that's why its huge.
Couple things to check before purchase.

See how long they have been in business?
How many have they sold?
Will they give you refrences?
All ul listed stuff you can call ul and verify to make sure it actualy is.

Looks very sparse inside even compared to the 3000 watt epever

How much do they weigh, this can be an indication.

I just bought an 1800 w 48v inverter that weighs 13 kg, where as the epever weighs around 7kg

Not me for $1800. It's EXW too so it sounds like they don't ship. You'll need a freight forwarder. I have one I use regularly and trust but I know it's going to be +$200 :/

nevermind on that one, it's single phase 240v.  On that 12000watt one, it doesn't look to have solar charging.  Think it just does grid charging.

I don't want any charging. I want inverting.
