When a friend tells you their laptop is playing up and they're considering getting a new one, rather than help them fix it you ask if you can have the battery.  Big Grin

I think i am definately at risk of becoming a Lithium Battery Addict. I am not right now, but i think i have all the makings. I cant stop thinking about them. Day and night. I find my self constantly distracted by thoughts of battery building. So I'd better be carefull, or I will become the next victim of Lithium addiction.

Lithium battery's blow me away. I often cant belive how much energy is packed into such a relatively small size and mass. my whole life I have hated batteries and anything battery powered. I would always Opt for an AC>DC power supply whereevri could. That is, untill recent times. Anything powered by lithium batteries (at the very least) does the job. Wether we are talking about battery power tools, ebikes, Vaporizers, torches, power walls, EV's. Everything is good now that lithium can do it.

Im a little suprised lithoium is not even more wide spread than it already is. Oh well, im sure it wont take but a few more years. not to mention all the new chemistry batts that are comign along as well.

I find lithium cells and the battery packs we can make sooooo exciting. so i can totally see how it could easily get out of hand.

I think the worst symptom would be, every time you see a battery powered device, you have visions of how you would convert it to run on lithium batteries.

What if you start eying off perfectly good batteries and make excuses to ‘recycle’ it. “Whoa that camera battery seems to be down a bit from yesterday, Ill’ Just look after that for you...”

This is indeed my "problem " too.

So far the most flashlights i have do now have li-ion plus tp4056 charger board.
I have now 3 multimeters run on li-ion
Handheld vacuüm cleaner from nimh to li ion
Wireless hot glue gun , update to 2 times bigger capacity li-ion.
Bought a couple of bosch psr and gsr 9.6 and 12v handheld drill only for the fun to upgrade the battery packs to 3s and 4s
All my neigbours with dead nicads on theire drills
All upgraded to li-ion.
Closet light , ledstrip with motionsensor and 2 x AA battery , upgraded to 1 x li-ion cell
More to come iam afraid ???
