After looking around for first what battries to use I have landed on 32650LiFePO4 for a small 4s2p x2 pack to run my gaming laptop for a hopeful ~5(gaming) hours using a 12 to 24v (if i can find a 12 to 20v that would be much better). I amd going with 32650 as they have a large capacity and cheap ish(aliexpress $4-6) and have more room for "cheap chinese" 7000mah is the max that I can find.

after considering what battery packs to use as their are none to buywould like to make a 4s2p box using a 3D printer (college).
basically im wondering weather i should and can submerge the battery in epoxy or resin to protect from external damage and in the even of mistakes and explosions would this suffocate the from the oxygen.

I'm no expert here, but I wouldn't fully encase the battery pack in something airtight as if batteries start venting you have effectively made a bomb.

Agreed. Lithium batteries do not require oxygen to burn. You cannot extinguish them if they catch fire, only contain the fire.

Also I think that seller may be overstating the capacity. Beware of chinese fakes.

The seller is not overstating capacity.

32650s are absolutely massive. If you think 26650s are large, then 32650s are giants.

so dont keep the battery's sealed but keep them in a case.
thankfullyIwont need to use a spot welder as most of them use screws
