Snowlar Panels and a slightly off topic use for surplus energy
Awful day again yesterday, wet, cloudy and wind all day.

Only managed to produce 13.66kWh

UK Southwest.

7 kWp Solar Panels (28 x 250Wp Shinetime Mono).
14 X APS YC500i Micro Inverters.
Still sourcing and processing cells for powerwall.
Planning on a Sofar Mass Energy ME3000SP AC coupled grid tied inverter.

Had a couple of better days. 23.46 kWh and 22.66 kWh not my best but good.
Then today was one of the worst ever, thick heavy cloud cover and rain most of the day.
Only managed to produce a pitiful 9.8 kWh today.

A little nicer yesterday, had a bit more sunshine.
Managed to produce 29.30kWh.

Much better day yesterday 32.78kWh day.
Today not so good. Lots of rain and cloud for the first half of the day.
Still managed to produce 18.15 kWh today.

Absolutely horrid awful day. Poured with rain all day long.

Only managed to produce a pitiful 8.41kWh.

My first summer with full system (24 Solarworld panels - 6.885kwh - 25deg angle facing south).   I've been excited to see what the actual max output would be after 1.5 years of planning, speculation etc.     Here's the answer Smile

It looks like 46.8kwh on Jun 20th is my max.  This is as close to 6/21 (longest day of year) and low 75F temperature and completely cloudless as I'm likely to get.   You'll notice in the list of day/kwh my first 100F day on Jun 11th only netted 42kwh.  This shows that as temp rises from 70F to 100F I loose 10% output.   Not unexpected - just interesting to see in 'real life' as apposed to reading about it.

Very nice yealds, we are having the filthy summer, very few cloud free days, mostly dark clouds, rain and wind.
Had couple of nice days 30kWh plus, but two awful days again 9.09kWh and 14.53 kWh today. So very poor prduction, I was hoping for a lot more.

Yes sir - dark/rainy is a solar killer.   My worst with same 6.885 array was 1.8 kwh for *whole day* last Jan 19th.

My year to date has been very low, but I only had half the panels up over the winter. I didn't get the full 7kWp up until the beginning of April.

I'm hoping to see a massive improvement over the next 12 months. My best since all the panels have been up was 39.26kWh and I think the lowest was 5.38kWh
