[UPDATE][Tools]Battery Pack Calculator in Excel & Android - 11/24/2018

Hi,

I've created a simple battery pack calculator on Excel. It calculates the capacity, how many series and parallel just input how many cells you have, voltage and amp.

Well done! Accuracy is spot on. The only thing I added was a 20 percent loss as I won't be fully charging or discharging.

Doesn't apply to most. You have create an excellent tool for beginners. The only thing I can suggest is top and bottom voltage

Doesn't apply to most. You have create an excellent tool for beginners. The only thing I can suggest is top and bottom voltage


I don't quite understand, can you give me a formula or computations for that?

Some corrections:
A8 should be Amphour, or Ah/mAh, not Amp
B14/15/16 is a bit mixed up, B14 is the capacity of the battery, B15 is the energy of a single parallel pack and B16 is the energy of the entire battery in Wh, not the capacity.
C16 is kWh, not kW (and definitely not Kw Wink)
Same with B21

If you want to take 20% loss into account then reduce the figures by 20%.
Example:
7s40p, 2Ah cells, 80Ah total capacity and 2072Wh total energy, 64Ah usable capacity and 1657.6Wh usable energy

I think what Geek means is that this doesn't apply for most beginners as it is more of an advanced thing to run the cell in a certain voltage range instead of their full voltage range.

Okay. I understand. I'll fix the unit and some formula. Sorry for the wrong unit.

I know it's kinda advance but it's better to add more feature and computations into it since the beginners will soon to ask those advance stuff, that's why I'm asking if theres something more I can add, you can all tell me and I'll put it together.
