Updating Watchmon4 firmware/ manual
#1
And here is yet another Batrium question (I wish Batrium would increase their support info).  I am trying to upgrade the Watchmon4 firmware and I am hitting a block.  The Watchmon 4 is not connected to the battery ...the battery is not totally finished yet and I also do not have an internet connection in my shop.  I am hitting a deadend in getting to the software where it allows you to upgrade the firmware.  I am being walked through all the setup for the Watchmon4 and battery connection ...but again I am not connected to the battery yet.  Do you have to have the Watchmon4 connected to the battery to upgrade the firmware?

I will make this a double post as well.  I did not get a manual with the Batrium ...and I do not find an all inclusive manual on the web site.  So I assume there isn't one?  So every time you have a question/need you then have to go to the Batrium website?

No, the WM4 does not need connected to the battery. In fact, you need to disconnect the power source from the WM4 before upgrading it. Once disconnected, plug in the USB cable and it will be powered via USB. In the software, click Menu > Tools > Firmware Updater > WM4. Select the COM port of the USB and click Upgrade.

The documentation for WM4 is here... https://www.batrium.com/pages/faq-watchmon4
They are also working on video tutorials... https://www.youtube.com/user/BatriumPtyLtd/videos

Ok ...the problem was for some reason the toolkit was not installed ....all I had was the Batrium service center.  So I had to download the toolkit again.  It appears that the firmware on this Watchmon4 is up to date because it is checked.  Thanks again ....
