Really. If your charge end voltage is 4.2V then after 30 min cell's voltage must be somewhere around 4.14-4.17V for good cells.

Ok I'll take your word for it.
Although it is possible that the LiitoKala might be charging a little over 4.2 I will check that also.
Also these cells are my rejected below 80% SOH and also bellow 2200mAh.
But I have had cells that have sat for at least 30 days and have had a V of 4.19 with great SOH and great IR.

It's only possible if your charger overcharges them. Especially in case of rejected cells.

Hm. OK I will check my 2 Flukes and the YR1035+ that I have been taking voltage measurements with against the reference chip tonight and post pictures.

We will go from there.
BTW the ZB206+ was also showing 4.18+ voltages on the cells I happen to check with it.
I will let the next set of cells sit for at least an hr before I check those.

Ok great

I assume that they are all new cells.
As I said I will recheck my meters tonight and we will go from there.
Also I will check the LiitoKala who knows It may be overcharging the cells by a bit.
I never really trusted it as it was always showing cells high on the mAh readings.
Going forward I can charge these cells on my parallel charging board that I know I can adjust the Voltage on with either my iCharger x6
or my buck /boost checking the voltage with my fluke bench meter( well only if it is accurate) Tongue

OK,

Here are the results of my Voltmeter tests taken from the reference chip.
Be sure to zoom in on the pictures as they have very good clarity





Now when I hook the YR1035+ up to the reference chip there is a small voltage drop it creates as it is putting a resistive load on the battery to measure IR. At 2.5 Volts that was too much for the reference unit so it was fluctuating too much to get an accurate reading.
But the other voltages agree with the flukes as the flukes agreed with the reference units output without the YR1035+ hooked up.
So as far as my voltmeters and the YR1035+ being off I think we need to look somewhere else. Tongue




I will check the LiitoKalas next.
Yep its them looks like this one is overcharging a bit. Never did trust them. Exclamation

Never thought that Flukes might be wrong. So i was suspecting the LiitoKala which appears to really overcharge the cells.

OK now that we have crossed the Voltage hurdle and we know that the YR1035+ is accurate we can move on with the original issue.

4.14 to 4.17 for thunderheart.

So even then if I take the YR1035+ and check the IR the results are accurate. Don't doubt me on this as I will prove that with the reference resistor I have.
So given that the YR1035+ gives us a certain IR result and the ZB206+ gives us a certain result barns asks us is it "reliable".
Reliable means many things. Can we rely on it to be accurate now that is something different.
So for my last set of cells unless anyone wants me to continue will be these:
6 INR18650-13Q high drain low IR cells ~26mΩ
6 ICR18650-20C low drain high IR cells ~75mΩ
Yes charged on the LiitoKalas so we already know that the voltage will be a bit high.

But I took them out this morning and they will be sitting all day at least 11hrs for the YR1035+ and ZB206+ comparison.
I will check IR and Voltage with both.
