I recently purchased 4 180Ah LifePo4 battery, I have been charging it using iMax B6AC, it worked fine but very slow, only 2 amp,and the charger gets really hot so I have to cool it down with a mini-fan.

I really like the feature of the iMax though, it's able to charge 1S at 3.2v, or 4S at 12v, It shows you the charging voltage. But wonder if there's a more powerful charger out there? That can deliver bigger amps? Preferably 10A, or at least over 5A. Thanks in advance!

wrong section
The "DIY Battery Project Builds" section is "only" for battery builds. Not for generic questions.

Of course the are others chargers with more power available. Lots of them actually. The B6AC has the built-in power supply though, do you want to keep that feature? If so, then your choice is very limited because the high end chargers usually are DC only so you need an external power supply or run them straight from DC, like a battery. Many of them have so much power that you'd need a fairly powerful, large and expensive power supply which wouldn't fit into the chargers case nor would it be viable to sell without seriously raising the price.

If you want a built-in power supply to run the charger directly from mains voltage, then have a look at the SkyRC D400.
If it can be a DC-only unit, then have a look at the Junsi iCharger series. A small one would do in your case, like the 106 or 208 or the new X6.

For 180Ah cells though I'd go straight for a big one, like the 4010. But obviously it's also a matter of the available budget.

Thanks DarkRaven! 4010 looks so sexy, but it's out of my budget unfortunately. I might just settle on SkyRC D400 instead

You can get icharger single channel too. They are cheaper

Look on your local craigs list kind off. I get ichargers ther for 50% of original price...

I had no luck with all other brands
