Hello. I am thinking to buy the LifePO4 32650 batteries. I want to build either 12 or 16 cell bteries to be used with a MPPT solar charge controller to charge another 48v LifePO4 battery (150 watts) away from the power grid. I live off the grid so have some experience with batteries and charging, but this will be my first LifePO4 battery build. I have a spot welder that needs fixed. I don't know where to buy the weldable battery straps. I am thinking that chinese cells will have a higher failure rate over time? Is it doable to build a battery where the cells are inserted in a holder with spring loaded contacts for easy replacement? Or is the resistance to much? Thanks for any help you can give.
