replacing resistors for mini psu

I know my knowledge on electronics is not sufficient, yours is way higher than my.

I am going to try/test a thing or two, but i will keep in mind that the current sensing would be off.
So the biggest problem is: it would not do its cut off job
I did expect some outcome like this.

Thanks for your effort and time, when i start to test with a zb and a step up i will post for advice and tell on the forum what i am up to.

Or basically from the ground up: reinvent the wheel:
I am planning also to buy a regular mAh meter and put that in between, plus a volt meter, those really cheap things from ali.
The cutoff i am planning to do with a resistor network and some transistors.
Sort of analog (and and and??) port, when all the exits are positive, a relais will cut the load off.
So when all the ports are positive the relais will switch to the "off" position.
But the mAh meter would have a number for me,and the discharge load is where i want it to be.
At least that is the plan, .....sort of.

I am confident that you understand what i am trying to write, i hope that i used the correct english terms.
(and/off port, and/and port ect ect)

2800 cells in packs Exclamation above 2500mah and 90%soh.
~400 cells between 1800-2500 and above 90%soh(sell?)
600 cells between 2200 - 3000mah, 80-90%soh (sell?)
3000 waiting for testing.
approx: 0 cells not safe for use: dead, heaters, to high ir or sd/vamps

Before you rush off & buy all that, two things:
1) cost wise it's not a good idea to do things this way (even if it is tempting to save the resistor wasted energy!)
2) check how the zb unit handles it first.
I'm sure the zb unit will still measure voltage OK (no need for extra voltmeter).
It probably cuts off based on voltage as well, so that would work too if you don't ground the output on the boost converter. So no relay bits needed either.


You want the mAhr test result number to know your cell you are testing.
Do a few tests on say 5 cells with normal resistor & with boost converter circuits and compare the results, might be close.
