Hello folks. I just got my account approved. Thanks to the Mods for that.
I am a retired Engineer 9ME/CS). I have been playing with LION cells for 15 or so years. I made up a few battery packs at a small scal and incorporated BMS. But I mostly use cells for things like flashlights and formerly Vapes.
I used to do a bunch of cell scavenging. Mostly laptop batteries.
Recently I have started to dabble in Solar. I just have 400 watts of panels, a couple of MPT controllers and three or four around 1KW "solar generators. I a m toying with building some storage using 18650s or 21700 cells.
I probably have on the order of 400 cells of different sizes along with maybe a dozen different charger analyzers. My got to are my two MC3000.
Recently I got an RC3563 and started playing with it. I just ordered a BA1020 (anyone have any thoughts on that meter?). I will be asking some questions on this new area of my journey with cells.
I hope to learn a lot from the experts here and maybe offer something constructive back along the way.
Thanks for having me.
Phil
