Got my Jk BMS(jk-b2a20s20p) wired up for two weeks ago and everything was fine until today because it wont start up any more when I press the button on the LCD screen. I tried to put on a 9v battery between b- and p- on the BMS and it worked for a moment. Later it won't start again with 9v so I tried with a 12v battery charger and worked but shuts down after few seconds. Tried with 24volts and it works fine until I remove the charger or enabling discharge in the BMS settings. What could be the reason that gives those errors?

I have 20 li-ion cells in series that gives enough power for the BMS power supply.

Barring a total component fault, which is of course possible; it might help to check to make sure all the balance wires are in good shape and reading the correct voltage all the way to the board.

Checked every wire and everything looks good both in software and with multimeter.

What do you have the cell difference set to?
Cell 6 3.801V
Cell 20 3.755V
46mV difference. Could be the reason it won't boot?
Will it charge?
later floyd

It's set to 10mV difference so it's still balancing even if it's going slowly with 50ah cells.
