Opus BT-C3100 v2.2

I have a relatively new BT-C3100 not a great deal of charging has been done. Now when I plug it in the screen cycles through the menu shoes 2.2 in the first bay the starts the recycle again. This happens with or without batteries in the four bays. Any ideas on a remedy?

When I plug mine in the power, it quickly flashes 2.2 (the version), then the screen highlights...

then "Charge" mode flashes a few times and settles on "Charge" (by default) like this

Once you put cells in it shows the voltage (or null) and starts flashing for you to select the charge level for that slot.

This is normal behavior. Sounds like you might have a defective unit. Is the Mode button pressed down somehow by the case or is the unit damaged?

Inside there is a slider to switch between lithium-ion and lifepo4, maybe open it up and toggle that switch and see if things reset.
