Hiyall. Bought a secton of tesla car battery with 21700 but top botton is thin aluminum ,spot welder pierced it,i tried soldering,solder wouldnt stick to it,and started sparking at seam.now im in dilema,wasted $800 for seaminly nothing. Does anyone know how to join them,make solid conection on positive terminal?

You are really in a big trouble. All solutions are really complicated. You can try to use bi-metal strip - aluminum/nickel on different sides.
That's the only way to go with spot welding, but I did not try.
