Did manage to save a few of the cells. People should not leave there batteries in the rain.

Ooooo, not good. Yeah, water and cells don't go together to well.

I've actually had a few cells that were outside but under a roof, no direct rain or mist. However, the humidity in Florida isn't kind to batteries, either. With >80%, it might as well be raining.

Voltage and humidity are not kind to each other. Especially if its DC.

Those packs are "usually" weather sealed. Had you had the pack open before?
