Hi! My name is Chris.

After following the topic of diy powerwalls, i started out with my own project on building a 4-6 kWh powerwall.

I currently finished the gathering of the cells and am about to build the bare packs based on all the useful information
i found so far.

I am really overwhelmed by the motivation and enthusiasmi see here in the forum to build your own stuff and i am
excited to follow the path :)

So, i hope i come up with something to contribute, at least with the documentation of the project.

Best,
Chris

Hey your photo looks great, what the idea behind the yellow 3d printed sexyness along the side of the packs ?

Hi!

Well, somehow i thought of giving the technology a nice look :)
It's yellow acrylic leftovers i lasercutted.

I started out with thinking about a case for the cells, because i am planning to make the package easily maintainable (won't solder the cells - i'll post a preconstruction, see below):

Then, after thinking about the case, i thought the sidecover could have two functions: Ventilation and good looking :)

By the way, if you're interested, i can share the Autodesk360 Project (Made the Design with Fusion360).

Best,
Christian

Best,
Chris
