I have 30+ of these battery packs.
Dell PC764

Searching for the numbers on the cells yields no results.
KHRFM36 - 096673
and
LINM309 - 065878
are both coming out of these packs.
Please help.

The major manufacturers, like Dell, usually don't use unbranded cells. So these were probably 3rd party replacement batteries using whatever cells they could get their hands on.
Unless you have missed something of course. What color are these cells? If they are red then they might be Sanyo cells, their model names are not printed on the sleeves but embossed instead and this is very hard to read.

I had inserted photos. Let's see if this works.

Ok, that looks like a proper Dell battery and the cells look like Sanyo indeed. Check under different viewing angles and lighting situations and you will probably find the model name. It is something like UR18650. What you are looking for is embossed "along" the cell, i.e. from positive to negative terminal, and not around the cell like the numbers you have found.

Thank you Darkraven. I did find some embossed numbers once I looked closely. They are processing out at 2300-2500 with IR in the 80's with the Opus.
