Hi all
I'm currently in the process of adding another set of 14s200p packs to my system. But I will have to move things around a bit, and I've made a larger battery stand aswell. But that means longer run for my balancing wires going to batrium.
I'd like to avoid having the battery stand right in front of the inverter.
Batrium is located in the top left box. So wires going down from batrium runs in the cable tray and over to the new location. Probably 3-4 meters of wire if not more really. See photo.
What I'm wondering is the balance wire is used as a sense wire, but what will that mean for voltage drop over that run, or is that minimal? I'm currently using 0.5mm2 / 20awg wire with batrium fuses close to the battery terminal.
Should I be worried, or maybe use 1mm2 or more balance wire instead with fuses?
I know batrium doesn't recommend going up in wire size really.
Also just to clarify, balance wires doesn't have to be equal lenghts?
Have a good day,
Best regards
