Hi folks,

American here living in rural Taranaki, New Zealand.

Mostly I just wanted to take a second and give thanks to the members of these forums who so graciously offer their experience and advice - especially to those of us who drop in to get a question answered or some logic checked and then disappear, never to be heard from again. I've gotten some really hard things figured out, working well, and working safely over the last few years on our off-grid journey thanks to people like you.

Thank you for the guidance you provide.

Hi there @Taranakian and welcome to the forum. I read your answers in the other thread and you seem quite skilled to me(y)

Your introduction is quite strange ("thanks to those who disappear") but you're welcome in any case:D

If I have any skills at all, I've picked them up from forums like these.

I just wanted to acknowledge the generosity of sharing your knowledge and experience with people with seemingly no expectation of reciprocity and how helpful that has been to people like me who, for one reason or another, don't seem to make it to the active community member stage of forums.

Couldn't agree more - starting with the founders of this forum - @Hbpowerwall (HBPowerwall youtube), @Daromer (DIY Tech & Repairs youtube), @TheBatteries (LithiumSolar youtube), and @Korishan! I'm in year 6 of a fully operational, whole-house solar system that works smoothly and it's all from great info freely shared.
